Every year for Easter, I make a carrot cake. I use a different recipe each time. I almost didn’t make one this year, but my husband urged me otherwise! When we attend a family gathering, nearly everyone brings a dessert, so I end up bringing home half of my cake! I decided to make this year’s cake a bundt cake. I wanted to do a ring of cream cheese “flowers” on top of a nearly-naked cake. (This one is covered with a vanilla glaze.)
And here’s my oldest daughter helping me in the kitchen!
