We already celebrated my oldest daughter’s birthday, but we needed a cake for her actual birthday! My 4-year old insisted on making her sister a dirt cake!
We had an early Thanksgiving with my in-laws, and it was on my daughter’s birthday, so we decided to combine the two!
We started with a graham cracker crust, then added chocolate pudding, then a layer of crushed Oreos (regular and golden), and topped with dyed coconut flakes (to look like hay/dry grass). The tepees are sugar cones topped with dollops of chocolate icing and pretzels. I put Sixlets around the base of the tepees…because I had some left over from Halloween! And we made a little fire using pretzel sticks and candy corn.
My 4-year old made everything…I just came up with the design and told her what to do!
